Halloween

10 September 2008

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. They don't really celebrate it here in Germany, but that's not stopping me from making Halloween cards. This one has a reprint of a vintage illustration. I mounted the illustration on cardstock and attached some webbed ribbon. The verse goes a little something like this:

"When the world is wrapped in slumber,
And the moon is sailing high,
If you peep between the curtains
You'll see witches riding by."

I'd like to say a quick thank you to everyone that voted for me in last week's Etsy Challenge. My 'Blooming Sisters' card won. I really appreciate your votes!

I LOVE this Halloween card! Every year I say I'm going to make Halloween cards and every year I never do...maybe, maybe, THIS is the year! Beautiful card!

I love it. I've never made halloween cards, but I think I'd like them just for decoration.
